The face of Waddeninsight

At Waddeninsight (in Dutch Waddeninzicht) Ruth Wermers and Hein Pols are at the helm. There is a fair chance that you will get one of their five children on the line (their names: Doy, Boedi, Momo, Mosja or Polle). Ruth, after her educational backgrounds as infant teacher and actress, has been concentrating on the bringing -up and care for their children. Meanwhile she has started an education in counseling. Hein - as bargee-son - has grown up on and near the water.
After a study in Maritime Technology at Delft University he has been active in shipping for many years, out of which the last 15 years as director of a consortium in inland navigation. Summer 2004 Ruth and Hein decided to chance course in and make a living out of their hobby.
